Company Profile
The Thermal Energy Technology Institute (ITET) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is a leading scientific organization in the field of physical and technical problems of solid-fuel energy. The main tasks of the Institute are to conduct fundamental and applied research aimed at improving the efficiency of thermal energy use, as well as developing modern methods of energy conservation and energy efficiency, creating methods for diagnosing and reducing pollutant emissions, developing technologies for the production of new fuels, improving fuel preparation and supply methods, creating new high-efficiency environmentally clean technologies, and enhancing existing technologies for the thermochemical processing of solid fuels for use in energy and industry.
The Institute carries out scientific and technical and experimental developments based on scientific knowledge obtained from research or practical experience, with the aim of bringing such knowledge to the stage of practical application. It performs scientific and scientific-technical expertise on issues related to thermal and electrical energy, develops national standards and industry-specific regulatory documents, and provides scientific support for the technical and environmental activities of energy-generating companies, energy enterprises, design and engineering organizations, and boiler manufacturing companies.
